Cherri Mettler

Cherri Mettler is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in the assessment and treatment of children ages 3 to 12. She is a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist and Certified AutPlay® Provider, with advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, TraumaPlay®, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Cherri provides individualized, evidence-based interventions to address a range of presenting concerns including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), behavioral dysregulation, and trauma-related symptoms. Her clinical approach integrates cognitive-behavioral and play-based modalities to promote emotional regulation, social development, and adaptive coping skills. In addition to direct work with children, Cherri collaborates closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance and practical strategies to support behavior management and emotional growth in the home and school environments.
